PULSE ENTERTAINMENT AWARDED KEY PATENT FOR USER-GENERATED AVATAR TECHNOLOGY
Automatic 3D modeling system enables custom character creation complete with gestures, behaviors and more

• San Francisco CA Pulse Entertainment, the leading provider of user-generated mobile content services, today announced that it has been issued a broad patent on its Veepers™ virtual personality creation technology (U.S. Patent No. 7,123,263). This issuance, the most recent in the Pulse Entertainment portfolio, increases the total number of patent claims to nearly 200 and provides comprehensive IP protection to the company's technology offering.

  The patent covers systems and methods for dynamically generating a 3D model to fit the particular characteristics of a given facial image. In addition it protects a system and method for application of gestures and behaviors to that custom model, resulting in a personalized, 3D avatar media file.
